NEW DELHI: Fiber-based broadband provider ACT Fibernet has deployed broadband in 300 schools of Chennai and Coimbatore in association with the Government of Tamil Nadu, the company said in a release on Tuesday.
The company is investing over Rs 3 crore to extend its high-speed broadband connectivity to government schools in Chennai and Coimbatore.
“We are happy that ACT Fibernet is investing over Rs 3 crore to offerits high-speed broadband connectivity to our government schools. This will certainly benefit our students, help them enhance their knowledge and open new opportunities,” said Sengottaiyan K.A, Minister for School Education in Tamil Nadu.
“This initiative will benefit thousands of students and help them enrich the present-day advancements of learning, seeking information around the globe, learning beyond the prescribed syllabus and adding additional knowledge to develop them into future instructors,” said Sandeep Gupta, COO, ACT Fibernet.
